BERN: Aung San Suu Kyi feels better and will keep up her European tour schedule, a member of her delegation said Friday, a day after the Myanmar democracy icon cancelled events due to exhaustion.
"She feels better, she has a little headache, the programme is maintained as scheduled," said the member who asked not to be named.
On Thursday evening Suu Kyi cancelled a dinner with Swiss government officials after she became ill at a press conference because she was "totally exhausted".
The opposition leader, who received a triumphant welcome in Switzerland, was due to visit the Swiss Parliament on Friday, marking the end of her official tour of the country.
Suu Kyi will then fly to Oslo as the next part of her visit where she will formally accept her 1991 Nobel Peace Prize on Saturday.
